"What a great horn. My tenor has a noticeably more effortless
response in the very low and altissimo registers and plays
remarkably in tune. It is also very intelligently crafted with many
common sense features that make you say, "Finally, someone thought
of that! " A great result of some those features is durability.
After a year on the road which included a couple accidental knocks,
it didn't move. Nice not to have to find a repairman in "where
are we again" USA or put up with the typical frustrating leaks.
Thanks Cannonball."

World famous saxophonist
Mike Dubaniewicz
Music Director and Lead alto for Maynard Ferguson.
"After grueling months and years on the road, and around the world; my
Cannonball Saxophone held up to all sorts of abuse. These horns are built
well and the intonation is very consistent. I have had the pleasure of
slaying many an audience with my Cannonball!...Thanks Tevis!!!"
Ralph Franke
Famous Austrailian Saxophonist
"I must admit that I was initially skeptical, but I had read so many favourable comments about the Cannonball horns that my curiousity got the better of me and I had to try them out. What a surprise, and a pleasent one at that. Everything I had heard was true. My Black Ice tenor has the focus of a Selmer, the fat bottom end of a vintage Conn, the warmth of a Super 20 and the huskiness of a Keilwerth. The intonation is flawless and the scale is even from top to bottom. It's the same with my Black Ice curved soprano - in tune and even. I haven't played a curved soprano that sounds as fat as the Cannonball. The altissimo register is easily accessable as well. Bravo Cannonball, the horns are excellent. "

"The horns are great! feels so comfortable to blow and they cut through so well with less effort, better than a freshly overhauled selmer. Hahahaha...now a lot of people will tell you i love high notes and i hang on 'to them in a solo as long as i can and MY RAVENS DO THE JOB... my altissimo range has more power than ever, and they look so great too."
Dr. Tracy Heavner
Professor of Music
Director of Jazz Studies
University of South Alabama
"I love Cannonball saxophones. I played Selmer saxophones for years
but once I played a Cannonball, I switched immediately. In my
opinion, they are the best saxophones made. I play them and recommend
them to all my students."
John Isley
New York Horns: The Movin' Out Tour Band
"The design team at Cannonball has delivered an instrument worthy
of the lineage of the classic American saxophone begun by
CG Conn and King. The Stone Series is the first
modern-design saxophone to offer the focus,
compactness of sound, and projection of a classic
Selmer with the body, resonance and sheer power
like that of the big bore American horns. Without any
compromises of control, intonation or most importantly,
SOUND. The Cannonball is truly a joy to play,
in every possible way. From jazz to funk to rock &
roll, it’s all there. As a lifelong Selmer Balanced
Action and MK VI player, I was skeptical of the ability of
a modern saxophone to offer anything comparable to my
classic Selmers. The best endorsement I can offer is that
Cannonball is now all I play, period. Play one, buy one,
fall in love with one (or two or three..) I did.
Brent Jensen
Director of Jazz Studies, College of Southern Idaho
"I've played Cannonball saxophones in recordings, at club dates, and concerts.
I have found them to have great intonation, wonderful response and an altissimo
that is superior to that of my former horn, a Yamaha Custom.*"
