Ed Gornik

Ed Gornik has been a member of the Utah Symphony trumpet section since 1975 serving as co-principal from 1980-2002. He attended Northwestern University from 1966-1971 where he received a B.M.E. and an M.M.E. Upon graduation he joined the San Antonio Symphony and performed with them from 1971-1975. He has served as a professor of trumpet on the faculties of the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, and Weber College, and can be heard as a soloist and orchestral performer on many cds.
