Dr. Heath Jones
Dr. Heath Jones, Associate Professor of Music teaches applied saxophone, music
education, music technology, jazz improvisation, and directs the Jazz Ensemble at
Oklahoma Christian University. He is an active professional performer in the Oklahoma
City area, and serves as Past-President for the Oklahoma chapter of the International
Association for Jazz Education. Heath has performed with The Temptations, The Four
Tops, Leslie Gore, Jim Nabors, Wayne Newton, the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, and
other road show acts. Heath is a Cannonball Saxophone Artist and has given master
classes, lectures, and recitals in China, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. Heath can be
