Ribbed Construction

Soldering ribs onto the body.
Adding to the durability of Cannonball saxophones is our ribbed construction. This is a must in saxophone construction. Cannonball saxophones (excl. baris) are built with ribbed construction. The posts are soldered onto metal ribs that are attached to the body of the saxophone. This makes the instrument much stronger and more rigid which keeps the instrument in adjustment longer and prevents body dents from falls.

Ribbed construction also makes the horn easier to repair if damage does occur. This means that if serious damage is done to the saxophone the repair costs will be less.

Ribs are soldered onto body
