Bracing

Carefully placed straight bracing
for optimum resonance.
Our trumpets feature straight bracing. This is an advantage over the traditional "S" brace design. "S" bracing restricts the metal from resonating. Because our braces do not restrict the metal (particularly of the bell) resonance is optimized creating a huge, extremely vibrant sound that will make people sit up and take notice. We did extensive testing and have carefully placed our braces on the instrument in precise locations where we found it helped the sound. Intonation is heavily influenced by precise brace placement. Our braces are not forced into position but rather carefully placed and meticulously soldered to maximize these effects.
