The hand-hammered one piece Big Bell® projects a bold, clear sound with body and depth, yet is versatile for many situations and styles.
The bore size prioritizes a large air column while maintaining superb facility. While nominally a Medium Large bore, there are variations in the tube diameter across the instrument which create a comfortable degree of resistance as well as aligning pitch for great slotting.
The long, undisturbed air column created by a reverse leadpipe allows for outstanding fluidity and exceptional intonation.
Cannonball® 727 B♭ professional trumpets feature Monel piston valves. Monel is a malleable metal alloy that insures smooth and long-lasting action. The metal rearranges its shape with every stroke to insure a proper, tight fit and alignment with its casing. Monel resists pitting and corrosion. Beautiful, semi-precious stone finger buttons are a novel part of each Cannonball trumpet.

The reverse leadpipe smoothes the transition from leadpipe to tuning slide, resulting in a very open and free-blowing feel.

Our Cannonball® 790RL B♭ professional trumpet features Monel piston valves. Monel alloy pistons are extremely durable and allow for easy valve-strokes and maximum finger-dexterity.
The 790RL professional B♭ trumpet comes with two tuning slides. One semi-round for less resistance and more vibrancy, and one fully-round for flexibility with less resistance.
Precision placement of the 3rd valve slide Ring and Slide Stopper allow for optimal resonance and natural ergonomics.
Each 790RL professional trumpet is embellished with fine and intricate hand engraving. The artisans at our facility in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA have studied the art of trumpet engraving from the mid 1900s and add pioneering techniques, creating stunning designs that preserve and promote this jeweler’s art. These masterful engravings turn each trumpet into a unique piece of art in itself.

Beautiful, semi-precious stone finger buttons are a novel part of each Cannonball® trumpet.
Each professional trumpet comes equipped with a professional mouthpiece, mouthpiece brush, cleaning-snake, valve oil, cleaning cloth, slide grease, and a professional case. This wood-shell case has padding molded to your instrument for the best of modern protection. The case is covered in beautiful black alligator faux leather and the interior is lined with a soft, luxurious black fabric.
Acoustical Customizing is the most important thing that happens to each Cannonball® trumpet. This work goes above and beyond expectations.
